Muskingum Students Place in Ohio Forensics Association State Varsity Competition
Three Muskingum University students placed at the Ohio Forensics Association State Varsity competition on Feb. 18.
In the Persuasion category, Milayna Williams, a history and Spanish major from Columbus, Ohio placed third, and Amber Bowering, a psychology and communication studies major from Bellevue, Ohio placed sixth.
In the Broadcasting category, Megan Groves, a communication studies and media production major from New Lexington, Ohio placed third.

With our deepest respect and greatest admiration, Muskingum University celebrates the life of President Emeritus Samuel W. Speck, Jr. ’59. Dr. Speck passed away on March 1, 2023, at the age of 86.
Teacher Apprenticeship Consortium to Tackle Teaching Shortage
On March 1, Muskingum University, in partnership with the Ohio Department of Higher Education, hosted a collaborative meeting focused on the creation of a teacher apprenticeship program in Ohio to address the shortage of qualified teachers in the Muskingum/Ohio Valley region.
