Summer Registration Open for Graduate & Continuing Studies Programs

Summer Session registration for Muskingum University Graduate & Continuing Studies (GCS) programs is open now and available until the first day of classes for each session.

10-week, 5-week, and 1-week sessions begin in June and July in a variety of academic areas.

GCS offerings include Accelerated Teacher Education, Graduate Teacher Education, an Adult Degree Completion program including options in Nursing and Allied Health, the Master of Business Information Systems (MBIS) degree, and the Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT) degree.

Campus Life Events Celebrate Spring

Muskingum University students celebrated spring with two traditional campus life events.

The Cardboard Boat Regatta & Fishing Derby on April 2 was presented by the Muskingum Programming Board (MPB), Campus Recreation, and Orbit Media.  Lawn games and music added to the energetic atmosphere of this year’s event. Ryan Miller ’24 of Phi Kappa Tau was the Cardboard Boat Regatta winner.

“Superheroes” was the theme of Greek Week 2022 from March 21-26.

Junior Brooke Robbins will never forget how her life suddenly changed just after her high school graduation – and how it changed again for the better later that summer because of the generosity of Muskingum alumni.

Performing Arts Shine on Campus

Muskingum University’s talented student performers presented a vibrant array of the live arts on campus to close out the Spring 2022 semester.

On April 1-3 and 8-10, the Music and Theatre Departments performed Seussical: The Musical. The production’s dynamic student cast told the stories of some of Dr. Seuss’s most famous characters, including The Cat in the Hat, Horton the Elephant, Gertrude McFuzz, Mayzie La Bird, and the Whos of Whoville.

Kim Gage Rothermel to Provide Muskingum University’s Undergraduate Commencement Keynote Address

Muskingum University’s 177th Commencement will take place on Saturday, May 7 in the Anne C. Steele Center. Kim Gage Rothermel, M.D. (‘71) will be providing the keynote address.

Dr. Rothermel is a distinguished physician and leader. She has been Chair of the Muskingum University Board of Trustees since 2019. She joined the Board in 1997, and has held multiple leadership roles, including chair of the Academic Affairs Committee and member of the Executive Committee.

Registration Open for Muskingum University 2022 Summer Sessions

Muskingum University is offering Summer Sessions for the upcoming summer of 2022 which is open to all traditional undergraduate students at Muskingum and students from other colleges and universities. Summer Sessions include a variety of online courses taught by Muskingum faculty throughout the summer. There are several different dates in which the courses may be taught:
