Convocation welcomes Class of 2023

In celebration of the 2019-2020 academic year and the class of 2023, Muskingum University held a variety of activities for the campus community from August 23 to August 25, including workshops, a play fair and community service projects.

Convocation kicked off Welcome Weekend on August 23. The ceremony featured a welcome from University President Susan Hasseler. During the greeting, President Hasseler provided some insight on what students can expect during, and after, their time at the University.

First-year Muskies volunteer in the community during Welcome Weekend

Nearly 100 first-year students, student leaders, faculty, and staff volunteered in the community as part of Muskingum University’s Welcome Weekend on Saturday, August 24. Service activities throughout the day included painting, gardening, cleaning, and organizing on campus and in various locations in the New Concord area.

Nursing Grad Receives Praise

It’s fair to say that we brag a lot about our graduates…after all, there’s a lot to brag about. But we love it even more when employers do some of the bragging for us. 2019 nursing graduate Rachel Kashuba, BSN, RN, recently started her career at the renowned, and globally-recognized, Cleveland Clinic. During Rachel’s first week on the job, she received the following feedback, which we’re happy to share.
