Bio
Dr. Starcher's research agenda converges at the intersection of interpersonal communication, family communication, and health communication as it examines the impact of mental illness in the family environment. More specifically, I examine how parents and children discuss topics about mental illness and how the family manages their private information regarding mental health and how that influences those family members.
