Dr. Meyer Interviewed  About Pandemic Psychology and Public’s COVID Vaccine Reluctance

Muskingum University Chair and Professor of Psychology Dr. Dinah Meyer was interviewed on February 22, 2021 by WBNS 10TV in Columbus and by WOSU Radio/NPR on February 23, 2021 about Pandemic Psychology and some reasons why people are reluctant to have the COVID vaccine once it becomes available to them.

Dr. Meyer is currently teaching a course on the “Psychology of Pandemics.”

"The core of it really is that a lot of people just don't trust science because they don't understand it," she said.

Campus Hosts Prospective Muskies on Scholarship Days

More than 400 prospective admitted students and their families participated in the annual Scholarship Days, through their choice of virtual or in-person sessions conducted within careful social distancing protocols.

These potential members of the Fall 2021 incoming class engaged in faculty-led small group discussions, explored curricular and co-curricular opportunities in-depth, and toured Muskingum.

Muskie Couples Celebrate Valentine’s Day Virtually

Muskingum University alumni couples gathered virtually to enjoy a night of wine, catching up with friends, and celebrating Valentine’s Day with a virtual wine tasting “Mingling with Muskies” on Friday, February 12, 2021.

Participants registered in advance and placed their tasting kit orders, which included eight different 6-ounce bottles of wine, and then logged on to Zoom to enjoy the event.  A great time was had by all!
