Muskingum to Hold Music Alum Night

Muskingum University’s Alumni Office and Department of Music are hosting Music Alum Night on Feb. 3 in Columbus, Ohio.

Held in conjunction with the annual OMEA Conference, the event provides an opportunity for music alumni, faculty, staff, and students to connect with each other.

The reception will be held from 6-8 p.m. at Due Amici, 67 E Gay Street. Hors d’oeuvres and beverages will be provided.

Alumni Join in Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service

Muskingum University alumni joined faculty, staff, and students in a Day of Service on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Jan. 16, 2023.

Alumni Council President Dave Cepek ’93 involved alumni in the initiative, marking the first time they have joined campus community members for a Day of Service.

Two Muskies Selected for NCAA Division III Immersion Program

Two Muskingum University students were recently selected for the prestigious NCAA Division III Immersion Program.

Health and Fitness major Quinten Collins '24 and graduate student Taylor Brown '21, Assistant Director of Athletics Communication, were among 40 students nationwide selected to attend the 2023 NCAA Convention from January 11-14 in San Antonio, Texas.

Magenta is the Pantone 2023 Color of the Year

The Pantone Color Institute has selected Magenta as the Color of the Year for 2023.

The announcement of the choice “Welcome to the Magentaverse,” describes it as a color that “vibrates with vim and vigor. It is a shade rooted in nature descending from the red family and expressive of a new signal of strength. Viva Magenta is brave and fearless, and a pulsating color whose exuberance promotes a joyous and optimistic celebration, writing a new narrative.”
