3 Alumni Author New Works

Three Muskingum University alumni have recently authored new works.

Muskingum PLUS Learning Consultant Jacob Graham ’11, writing under the name Jacob Paul Patchen, recently released a children’s picture book, Family, the first in the ten-book Words That Matter series, and a young adult book, Sheltered: When A Boy Becomes A Legend. Jacob is an award-winning author and poet of children’s, teen, young adult, and adult fiction works. He is a U.S. Marine combat veteran.
    

Daniel E. Mainzer ’68 authored Akron's Rubber Industry 1976-1987: A Personal Journey, covering his 11 years as an in-house photographer at Firestone and General Tire.  The work documents life in the plants and the death of the Akron rubber industry.

Timothy J. Berichon ’84 published Ready & Relevant: Prepare to Audit What Matters Most. Tim has extensive experience in the internal audit profession, including leading global enterprise risk management and integrated assurance for Tyco International and serving as Chief Audit Executive for two global public companies.
