Edward A. Pesicka ’89 was named President and Chief Executive Officer of Owens & Minor Inc., a global healthcare solutions company.  He will also join the Board of Directors of the company.

Pesicka has more than 25 years’ experience in distribution, manufacturing and service for the healthcare, pharmaceutical, biotechnology and scientific research industries.  He served Thermo Fisher Scientific for 15 years, most recently as Chief Commercial Office and Senior Vice President.  

He earned his Muskingum bachelor’s degree in accounting and business administration, and he holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Weatherhead School of Management of Case Western Reserve University.
