Join Us for Magenta Homecoming
Muskingum University will hold its 102nd Homecoming celebration on Oct. 18-20, 2024. Plan to join us in New Concord for a weekend of reconnecting and reminiscing with your friends. This year brings three special events, in addition to all your traditional favorites.
The weekend begins on Friday, Oct. 18 with the Class of 1974 President’s Luncheon, Flashback Friday with the Class of 1974, Alumni Award Recipient Panel, Student and Alumni Networking Event, All Alumni Welcome Reception, Alumni Award Banquet, and Collage Concert.
Celebrate the Criminal Justice 20th Anniversary by mingling with program faculty, fellow alumni, and current students at a dessert reception during Friday’s Student and Alumni Networking event from 3:30-5 p.m. On Saturday, join faculty members and the Criminal Justice Club during the pre-game Tailgate from 4-7 p.m. on the East Lawn.
Take a Cornerstone Walk led by University Chaplain Derek Wadlington on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. During this informative and reflective walk around campus, you will learn more about each of the scriptures on our buildings’ cornerstones.
Play ball! Alumni Baseball and Softball games will be held on Saturday, with Baseball at 2 p.m. and Softball at 3 p.m. Relax with fellow alumni-athletes at the pre-game tailgate to follow.
Throughout the day on Saturday, enjoy receptions, gatherings, and open houses. Hear the President’s Update and choose the All Reunion Class Luncheon or a picnic lunch on the East Lawn. Join the pre-game tailgate starting at 4 p.m. and then cheer on the Fighting Muskies football team as they take on Marietta College.
End your weekend with the traditional Alumni Choir, Chapel Service, and Farewell Brunch.
