Muskie generations in attendance spanned 67 years, from Charlie Gratz of the Class of 1957 to multiple members of the Class of 2024.

The 50th Reunion Class of 1974 was well represented with 52 members. Reunion Chairs Jim Gray ’74, VK Schneider Ziegler ’74 and Mike Thomin ’74 presented their class gift totaling $1,292,150.

A beautiful fall Saturday was the perfect backdrop for the alumni and student tailgate on the East Lawn. Performances by the Music Department’s student rock band “Muskie Rocks” and the “Fly Ohio” band featuring Professor of Biology Jim Dooley, multiple food trucks, and games created a festival environment for reconnecting, reminiscing, and engaging with current Muskies.

New this year, University Chaplain Derek Wadlington led an enthusiastically-received Cornerstone Walk, which explored the cornerstone scripture and history of three Quad buildings. Additional buildings will be featured next year, as the Cornerstone Walk becomes a homecoming tradition.

Alumni and current students competed in afternoon Baseball and Softball Alumni Games, followed by a combined tailgate. Baseball welcomed alumni from classes ranging from 2000 to 2024 and Softball alumni represented classes from the 1980s to 2024.
