Josh Boyer '00 wins third Super Bowl
New England Patriots cornerbacks coach and Muskingum University alumnus Josh Boyer ‘00 helped lead his team to another Super Bowl Championship.
Boyer, who was in his seventh season as the Patriots’ cornerbacks coach, made his sixth Super Bowl appearance since joining the New England staff. He started working for the Patriots in 2006 as a coaching assistant for three years and then moved to coaching the defensive backs for the next three years. Boyer recently accepted a position with the Miami Dolphins coaching staff.
While Boyer was at Muskingum, he was a two-time Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference honoree in 1998 and 1999, while also earning All-Ohio Athletic Conference accolades as a defensive back for the Muskies football team in 1999. He graduated from Muskingum with a degree in physical education and health.
