Geology students, faculty will present research to geological society meeting
Two Muskingum College students and three faculty members have been selected to present their research findings at the southeastern section meeting of the Geological Society of America, to be held March 29 and 30 at Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Georgia.
Jason Esselburn '07 and Associate Professor of Geology Dr. Stephen Van Horn will present “Ostracodes as indicators of Hydrochemistry at a reclaimed surface mine, The Wilds, southeastern Ohio.”
Jennifer Sorrell '08 and Instructor of Geology Shelley Judge will present “Climate change in the north Atlantic Ocean.”
Associate Professor of Geology Dr. Eric Law will present “A STELLA model for Karst landform evolution.”
