Speech team wins second place at OFA state novice tournament
The Muskingum College novice speech team earned second place in the President’s Division of the Ohio Forensics Association (OFA) state novice tournament, held recently at Ohio University in Athens.
The team members, all of whom are in their first year of forensics competition, consisted of Rob Snowden '10, Callie Saxton '11, Tanner MacClaine '11 and Morgan Monaco '12.
MacClaine and Snowden were tournament finalists, earning fifth place in poetry interpretation and sixth place in prose interpretation, respectively.
The team’s head coach and advisor is Instructor of Speech Communication Rachael Pollock.
