Morgan Brown '09 presents research at conferenceMorgan Brown '09 recently presented his senior seminar research paper at the Ohio Latin Americanist Conference, held recently at Ohio University in Athens.
The title of the paper was Notas de viaje de Ernesto Che Guevara: Diarios de un viaje y testimonio de su concientización (Notes on a Latin American Journey by Ernesto Che Guevara: amid Testimonio and Travel Literature), which he presented as a part of a panel of graduate students and professors. His presentation and the discussion that followed were done entirely in Spanish.
As part of his studies at Muskingum, Brown studied for a semester at the La Universidad Blas Pascal in Cordoba, Argentina in 2007 and at the Universidad Castilla - La Mancha in Toledo, Spain in 2008, both of which have formal exchange programs with Muskingum College. On campus, he has also served as student manager of the college's Spanish House and as president of the Spanish Club
Brown’s faculty advisor is Assistant Professor of Spanish Dr. Sandra Alzate.
