Hope Walton '09 completes student teaching in Spain
Hope Walton '09 has completed her student teaching at the International School of Panama in Panama City, Panama.
While in Panama City, Walton taught students in second through eighth grades who were studying Spanish as a second language. Her student teaching placement in Panama was arranged through the Muskingum Study Abroad Program and the UMM Global Student Teaching Program.
Participation in the program requires high academic standards, completion of prerequisite courses, and the necessary linguistic preparation to teach abroad. Walton also studied in Mexico in 2007.
