Students Attend Muskie Leader RetreatMore than 50 students representing organizations across campus attended the Muskie Leader Retreat on January 20, 2019.
The retreat focused on exploring identity, learning about ally-ship and advocacy, and engaging in conversations towards social justice.
Andre Nash Jr. ’10, M.Ed. ‘17 was the keynote speaker. Mr. Nash currently provides Cleveland-area clients of the Ohio Means Jobs program with employment and job-training assistance and is Assistant Football Coach for Cleveland Central Catholic High School. He previously directed Hanover College’s Haq Center for Cross Cultural Education and was the Offensive Coordinator for Hanover College’s football program.
Muskingum student organizations represented at the retreat included Fraternity and Sorority Life, Student Senate, Resident Assistants, Black Student Union, Chinese Club, and QASA, the University’s LGBTQA+ organization.
