Dr. Baker Co-Authors Gerontology TextTwo new publications by Muskingum University Associate Professor of Psychology Hallie Baker are being released in early 2019.
Dr. Baker is the co-author of a new textbook on gerontological theory, entitled Social Theories of Aging: A Brief Synopsis. The book is being published by Cognella Press.
She also authored a commentary included in the 9th edition of The Aging Networks: A Guide to Policy, Programs, and Services.
Dr. Baker has served on the Muskingum University faculty since 2009, teaching in the psychology, sociology, and health science departments. She is a social gerontologist, licensed social worker, and a fellow with the Academy for Gerontology in Higher Education. She earned her Doctor of Philosophy, Master of Science, and Bachelor of Arts degrees from Miami University.
