MOT Program Presents Older Adult Health & Wellness Fair

Muskingum University’s Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT) Program hosted its inaugural Older Adults Health and Wellness Fair on March 2, 2024. The event took place in the University’s Bullock Health and Wellness Complex (BHWC).

Community members ages 65 and over were invited to the free event, which featured activities that provided tips and strategies for productive aging. Family members and caregivers were also welcome to attend and learn more about occupational therapy’s role in helping older adults participate in meaningful activities.

Impact Fair: Discovering Careers in the Healthcare System

Muskingum University’s inaugural Impact Fair was held on Feb. 12, 2024. The Impact Fair was a fresh approach to a traditional career fair with intentional focus on exploring careers and building meaningful connections in the healthcare industry. It was presented by the Impact Center, in collaboration with the Department of Nursing and the Alumni Engagement Department.

Alumni Enjoy Winter Social

Muskingum University alumni enjoyed a Columbus-area Winter Social on Jan. 26, 2024, at the Columbus Country Club. The Office of Advancement welcomed 100 alumni from the classes of 1962 through 2023.

Muskingum Hosts OAC Indoor Track & Field Championships

Muskingum University hosted the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Indoor Track & Field Championships at the Bullock Health and Wellness Complex (BHWC) on Feb. 23-24, 2024. It was the first time the University hosted the championships on its campus.

More than 500 student-athletes from the 10 OAC schools and more than 1,000 spectators attended the event. Each OAC team conducted a food drive; Muskingum won the Golden Fork award for the most donations and delivered all donations to the New Concord College Drive Presbyterian Church Food Pantry.

Muskingum University performing arts students have taken their talents on the road for multiple events during the 2024 Spring semester.
