Dr. Soto-Cabán selected for PKAL Institute

Associate Professor of Engineering Dr. Sandra Soto-Cabán has been selected to participate in a coveted Project Kaleidoscope (PKAL) program sponsored by the Association of American Colleges and Universities.

She will attend the PKAL STEM Leadership Institute held in Adamstown, Maryland in July 2018.

The institute is designed to support faculty engaged in the national transformation of undergraduate education in the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) fields.

Chemistry Department receives instrumentation grant

A competitive grant from the Spectroscopy Society of Pittsburgh will fund enhanced instrumentation to support Muskingum chemistry students.

The instrumentation purchased through the grant will be used throughout the University’s chemistry curriculum, from introductory classes to senior seminar.

Assistant Professor of Chemistry Seth Barrett, Associate Professor of Chemistry Deepamali Perera, and Professor of Chemistry Paul Szalay authored the grant.

MU Athletics announces partnership with Under Armour and BSN SPORTS

The Muskingum University Department of Athletics has announced that Under Armour, through BSN SPORTS, will be the official outfitter of Muskingum's 21 varsity athletic programs. The new long-term agreement, which will commence on July 1, 2018, will enhance the Muskingum athletic brand and give the department a unique identity.

With this announcement, Muskingum also extends their relationship with BSN SPORTS to be the supplier of Under Armour and all athletic products for the life of the deal.
