Muskingum Leadership Academy Overview
The Muskingum Leadership Academy begins with a weekend intensive workshop and then operates on a two-year themed cycle

Structure
The MLA staff and student leaders introduce the curriculum in a one-day weekend intensive workshop at the beginning of the fall and spring semesters. The MLA staff and student leaders meet with participants in small groups three times each semester to develop that semester’s theme. The MLA Staff and student leaders guide the participants in applying the curriculum to their area of concentration or interest (e.g., academics, athletics, clubs, and student government).
Students who complete:
- 1 Semester - Receive a badge
- 4 Semesters - Receive a certificate
