Professional Development: Leading Up-October 24th

Led by the Applied Leadership Department, students will learn how to become an effective and valuable employee.

Professional Development: Resumes and Big Interview- October 30th

11am-12pm- Impact Center

Create an outstanding first impression with a resume that is sure to impress. During this workshop, students will learn to leverage the personal resume building tools using the Big Interview platform.

Career Conversations- October 31st

11am-12:30pm- Impact Center

Offered on the last Friday of each month, this grab and go program provides students the opportunity for informal career conversations and advice. Students can drop-in and get any career development questions answered.

First Friday Professional Headshots-November 1st

10am-12pm- Impact Center

The first Friday of each month, student can receive a FREE professional headshot. This photo can easily be uploaded to LinkedIn, Handshake, and other digital platforms to enhance students' digital brand.

Ask Me Anything: Graduate School Alumni Panel- November 5th

11am-12 pm Impact Center

Enjoy a virtual discussion on Graduate School led by a panel of alumni sharing their experiences. Students will gain valuable wisdom from fellow Muskies.

Lunch & Learn: Job Search, Interview, and Networking-November 7th

Regional Human Resources professionals will teach students how to prepare for interviews, demonstrate strengths, and decipher job descriptions.

Professional Development: Elevate Your Skills with an Internship - November 12th

Obtaining an internship requires thoughtful planning and preparation. This workshop will include a student panel and advice from employers on how to plan your future internship.

Professional Development: Your Personal Brand- November 18th

Students will learn how to present the things that make them unique and uniquely attractive as a job candidate.

Students will learn how the Focus 2 online platform can help choose a major, explore occupations, and make informed career decisions through assessments of your values, skills, personality, and work interests.
