Stratford Film Festival
Thanks to the generosity of alumnus John Gardner 68' and his wife, Therese, the Impact Center and the Theatre Department worked together to coordinate a student trip to the Stratford Festival, North America's largest classical repertory theatre company. Eight Muskingum students will have the opportunity to experience a world-renowned theatre festival. The trip will take place August 19-24, 2024. We hope to continue this amazing opportunity every year!
Attiteam Athletic Collaboration
The Impact Center facilitated the collaboration of the Muskingum football leadership council and Attiteam, LLC, to enhance their team-building and mentorship abilities. They focused on increasing awareness and empathy to support the mental and emotional well-being of student athletes.
Muskingum University Youth Basketball Clinic
The Impact Center worked with the Muskingum men's and women's basketball teams to helped organize and promote a free youth basketball clinic at the Muskingum YMCA on October 28, 2023.
Our student athletes led Pre-K to 2nd grade girls and boys through different drills to develop their strength, mobility, and coordination.
Each child received free to admission to the men's and women's basketball games.
New Concord Community Day
Our Director of Career Services, Jackie Vascura, is a member of the New Concord Board of Trade and plays a vital role in the development of New Concord community events such as the Community Day event on September 2, 2023. Community Day is designed to connect the campus with New Concord businesses and community members. Students enjoyed visiting local businesses and attending the Party in the Park.
