Doctor of Applied Leadership

STEPS TO APPLY TO THE DAL PROGRAM

Admission decisions are made by the Vice President for Graduate and Continuing Studies upon recommendation from the Executive Director of Applied Leadership.

To be admitted into the Doctor of Applied Leadership Program, prospective participants must:

• Complete and submit the online application form
• Submit the $20 Application Fee (checks payable to Muskingum University) or to pay using a credit/debit card, please call our office at 740-826-8038
• Request official transcripts from all previous higher education institutions at which credit was earned and which corroborates completion of master's degree with a 3.0 or higher GPA from a regionally accredited college or university. Transcripts must be sent directly to Graduate and Continuing Studies from the previous higher education institution to be considered official.
• For international participants from non-English-speaking nations: submit Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) scores. Minimum acceptable scores:
  • Written test- 550
  • Computer-based- 213
  • Internet TOEFL- 79

**While previous academic achievement suggest likelihood of success in graduate studies, Muskingum University recognizes that individual circumstances and experiences may mitigate usual standards of achievement. Students who feel that the admissions criteria do not accurately measure their own capability, performance, and commitment to their chosen profession may submit additional or alternative evidence of their achievement and potential.
