COL/Dr. Jared A. Farley (Class of 1998) has been named the recipient of the John K. Funk Professorship at the New Mexico Military Institute (N.M.M.I.) for the 2023-2024 Academic Year. The central basis for selection is the faculty member’s professional performance. Such factors as outstanding teaching, mentorship, professional development, research, writing, service, and general contributions to the Institute are carefully weighed and documented. The professorship is named for the late N.M.M.I. alumnus John K. Funk, Class of 1933, a well respected oilman, aviator, and philanthropist, who helped provide the endowment for the professorship.
