Elizabeth Kay Whitehouse Perdue, Class of 1965

Elizabeth Whitehouse Perdue, always known as Kay, 78, a resident of Orlando of 44 years passed away peacefully on September 5th, 2022. She was born in Vermillion, South Dakota at Ellsworth Airforce Base to Wesley C. Whitehouse (US Air Force) and Hazel Bradford Whitehouse. Kay graduated from Muskingum University and earned a master's in education at the University of Pittsburgh. She was married to Henry Fred Perdue and worked as a high school teacher in between raising her children. Prior to retiring, she taught computer networking at Seminole Community College for 5 years. Kay was an active member of the local recovery community for many years, a wonderful mother, friend and sponsor to many and this January 10, 2023 would have celebrated 40 years as a Friend of Bill W. Kay is survived by two children, Kurt Robbins (Orlando, FL) and Vicki Hawhee (Indian Rocks Beach, FL), and 4 grandchildren, Austin, Lauren, Jessica and Spencer.
