Charlotte McCracken Bell, Class of 1955
Charlotte Rae (McCracken) Bell, 87, of Bucyrus, passed away Sunday (March 28, 2021) at her home of her niece in Elyria. She was born December 1, 1933 in Cambridge, daughter of the late Ray McCracken and Isabelle (Grove) McCracken. Ms. Bell was a retired school teacher. She graduated from Muskingum College and the University of Dayton, earning Master's degrees in Counseling and in English. She was an active member of the First United Methodist Church in Kenton. Ms. Bell was a member of the Elks of Kenton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Alice Kinnard, Margaret Thompson, and Mary Elizabeth Denny; and a brother, William McCracken. She is survived by her son, Matt (Debbie) Bell of Russell KY; her daughter, Jane (Mike) Daiber of Bucyrus; eight grandchildren, Rachael, Kailah, Nathan, Isaac, Faith, Lyndsay, Tate, and Brady; eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces & nephews.
