Mildred Vorhis Wheat, Muskingum College class of 1952, died October 4, 2020 at her home in Nashville, Tennessee. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Gerald Richard Wheat, four children, Donald Wheat; Douglas Wheat, Muskingum class of 1979; Rebecca Wheat Portier; and Deborah Wheat Lelansky.   She was a proud multi-generation family of graduates of Muskingum College including her son Doug, Class of 1979, and her mother, Rebecca Nesbitt Vorhis, Class of 1924.
