Debra Jo Douglass, 58, of Bridgeport, formerly of Cambridge, OH, passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2020 in Bridgeport at United Hospital Center. She was born on June 14, 1961 in Zanesville, OH, a daughter of the late William Corwin and Martha Spence Corwin She is survived by her husband of 25 years, William Douglass, whom she married on July 16, 1994 Debra is survived by two sons, Eric Earnest and his wife Inga of Pittsburgh, PA and Matthew McElhone of TX; three grandchildren, Ava, Edith and Isaac Earnest; Aunt and Uncle, Nancy and Jim Laughman of Cleveland, OH and a special friend, Regina Miller Debra graduated from Muskingum College and Marietta College with a Master's degree in education. She was a school teacher for twenty years. She also attended South Ridge Church in Bridgeport. She enjoyed starting the Jordan Circle of the Bridgeport United Methodist Church. She loved sending all types of cards to encourage everyone. She loved to give of herself. She will be missed by everyone that knew her.
