Student Leaders Attend Assault Prevention WorkshopRecently, a group of Muskies spent the day at the Ohio Union at Ohio State University for an all-day educational workshop centered around sexual assault prevention. Organized by the Ohio Department of Higher Education and facilitated by One Student – a non-profit organization that provides cutting edge programs, resources, and opportunities about the prevention of sexual violence – the training program enables students to lead discussions on campus about alcohol, sexual violence, and consent.
Accompanied by Muskingum University Title IX Coordinator Holly Gleason, students spent the day in discussions with the One Student team and peers from across the state to enhance their knowledge, increase confidence, and think strategically to plan events on campus.
