Dr. Lekan Awarded Fulbright Lectureship in China
Muskingum University Professor of Philosophy and Director of Assessment and Accreditation Dr. Todd M. Lekan has been awarded a Fulbright lectureship at Xiamen University in China for the Spring 2020 semester.
During Dr. Lekan’s lectureship, he will teach American philosophy to Xiamen University’s Chinese students and collaborate with Xiamen’s faculty on cross-cultural philosophical inquiry.
Through his Fulbright experience, Dr. Lekan will explore new ideas and approaches to cross-cultural studies and exchanges, focusing on the ways they could benefit Muskingum’s curriculum and the Muskingum student experience.
Dr. Lekan joined Muskingum’s faculty in 1996. He holds his Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees from The Ohio State University and his Doctor of Philosophy degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
