Muskies present Biology research at OASLed by Professors Jim Dooley and Danny Ingold, six Muskingum University biology students presented their research at the Ohio Academy of Science 127th Annual Meeting on April 14, 2018. This year’s event was hosted by Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio.
“The OAS meeting allows our students to experience presenting their scientific research in the context of a professional meeting,” Professor Dooley said. “Students also benefit in making important contacts among science students and faculty from other universities.”
Senior Jack Adair presented a poster focused on fish diversity on two local streams.
Sophomores Allissa Brown and Donny Ingold delivered an oral presentation on habitat use by grassland birds at The Wilds.
Junior Alex Furst presented a poster on the ecology of grassland birds at The Wilds, co-authored with junior Jolyn Shunk.
