Muskingum University recently launched the High Impact Experiences Grant program, designed to help students access applied learning opportunities beyond the classroom.

Made possible through the generosity of alumni and friends, this program aims to reduce financial barriers that might otherwise prevent students from participating in transformative experiences such as civic engagement, faculty/student research, work-related learning/internships, study away, entrepreneurship, and leadership. Students can receive up to $2,500 in grants for as many as three experiences during their time at Muskingum, and grants will be awarded in three cycles throughout the year.

“Participating in high-impact experiences can be life-changing for our students,” said Impact Center Executive Director Molly Dunn. “By reducing the financial barriers, we’re ensuring that all students have the opportunity to fully engage in these transformative learning experiences, which can shape their future careers and personal growth.”
