Student-Athletes Earn Accolades

Academic and athletic accolades were recently awarded to Muskingum University student-athletes from conference and national sports associations.

Congratulations and Go Muskies!

FOOTBALL: Eight Muskies received All-Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) honors. Travanti Keitt ’25 and Davion Grant ’27 were named All-OAC First Team. Toleo Malone ’25, Gannon Unger ’25, Martavious Johnson ’26, and Foster Wertz ’26 were awarded All-OAC Second Team. Qwestin Litz ’25 and Garrett Gurney ’26 both received All-OAC Honorable Mention.

Garrett Gurney was twice named an OAC Player of the Week, in October and November. Devin Roebuck ’25 was named an OAC Player of the Week in November, and Toleo Malone and Aaron Meyers ’26 were named OAC Players of the Week in September.

Davion Grant set a new Muskingum record for receiving yards in a season.

VOLLEYBALL: Josie Niemeyer ’26, and Mackenzie Krous ’27 were named to the All-Ohio Athletic Conference Second Team.

Josie was named an OAC Player of the Week, and Katharine Clayton ’27 was named an OAC Defensive Player of the Week.

WOMEN’S SOCCER: Morgan Meisel ’25 was named to the All-Ohio Athletic Conference Third Team.

The College Sports Communicators Academic All-District 2024 Women’s Soccer accolades recognized six Muskies: Jillian Laposky ’25, Britney Herrick ’26, Hannah Ritchie ’26, Gracyn Armstrong ’27, Emma Morton ’27, and Gabriella Wetherill ’27.
