Muskies and Friends ALL IN for Record-Breaking Day of Giving
Muskingum University alumni and friends were “ALL IN” for the 5th Annual Day of Giving, held for 1837 minutes on March 14-15, 2023.
The event raised $105,626, contributed by 297 donors, with an average gift of $355. The total funds contributed and average gift size both set new records for the Day of Giving, and the total number of donors ranks in second place in the Day of Giving record book. Forty of the donors were first-time contributors to Muskingum.
Day of Giving participants were able to direct their gift to one of five vital areas: Student Scholarships and Financial Aid, the PLUS Program, Greek Muskingum Fund Scholarships, Leaders of the Line, or Muskingum Athletics.
This year’s “ALL IN” theme focused on bringing many different affiliations of the Long Magenta Line together in support of the University.
An active on-campus presence throughout the day engaged students, faculty, and staff in sharing how they are ALL IN and enjoying games, prizes, and snacks together.
