Assistant or Associate Professor of Information Systems/Information Technology
Muskingum University invites applications for a full-time, nine-month faculty appointment in Information Systems/Information Technology, starting on or before August 1, 2025. This is an opportunity for a dynamic individual to help lead a high-growth academic major. The ideal candidate will have the ability to teach a variety of undergraduate courses, including systems programming, databases, networks, computer security, business intelligence, and project management. Depending on candidate qualifications, coverage in data science, visualization, and machine learning would help support adjacent programs. Experience/interest in developing career certificates for undergraduate students and regional professionals is an added plus. This is a renewable position with faculty rank at the Assistant or Associate level.
A doctorate in information technology, information systems, or related and undergraduate teaching experience are desired; applicants with a master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in information technology or information systems and significant work experience are also encouraged to apply.
