Program Highlights
- Scholarship availability for up to $2,500 per year
- First Year Student show every fall
- Living History acting internships at The John & Annie Glenn Museum
- Preparation for summer stock auditions under the guidance of professionals
- Connections with alumni who work professionally in theatre
- Annual trips to The Kennedy Center/American College Theatre Festival, and The Stratford Shakespeare Festival.
- Paid positions on technical production staff
- Membership in Alpha Psi Omega, National Theatre Honorary or Muskie Players, Theatre Appreciation Club.
Outcomes
After completing our Theatre program, students go on to careers as performers, designers, technicians, stage managers, directors, educators, playwrights, and in business roles in the industry.
Muskingum Theatre majors have been admitted into graduate programs at schools including Ohio University, University of Minnesota, UCLA, University of Delaware, and University of New Orleans.
