Muskingum Hosts Summer Music Camps
Two annual summer music camps will bring high school and college singers to the campus of Muskingum University this year.
The Summer High School Musical Theatre CAMP, now in its 17th year, will be held from June 16- 22. The residential camp for students in grades 9-12 provides a dynamic and challenging Broadway musical training experience. The week culminates in a Performance Showcase, which is free to the public and presented in the Thomspon Theatre of Caldwell Hall. The camp is made possible in part through the support of the Ohio Arts Council.
The ninth annual Cardinal Chorale Music Workshop will take place July 13-20. The Cardinal Chorale is an elite ensemble of singers who have completed their first year of high school through their first year of college. During the workshop, they will prepare for their 2024-2025 season, presenting a series of free performances throughout the week.
