Larry Ray
Larry Ray is a 1974 graduate of Muskingum University and 1977 graduate of Capital University School of Law. He is a practicing attorney, mediator, arbitrator, and executive coach, with bases in Washington, D.C., and Ohio. Ray serves as a trainer for the American Management Association (AMA), delivering courses in leadership, negotiation, conflict management, persuasion, and influence.
Previously, he was the first prosecutor in the United States to oversee a mediation/negotiation program for crimes, funded by the U.S. Department of Justice. He also served as the first director of both the American Bar Association (ABA) Dispute Resolution Section and the National Association for Community Mediation (NAFCM).
In addition, Ray is a Senior Adjunct Professor, teaching business negotiation at both The George Washington University School of Law (D.C.) and Capital Law School (Columbus, Ohio). He also writes a dispute resolution blog, www.LarryRayEsq.com.
