Celebrating A Combined 141 Years of ServiceWith great appreciation, Muskingum congratulates 5 members of our learning community who retired at the close of this academic year. Each of them has had a tremendous impact on our University. We wish them all the best in their retirement!
Joy Cowdery, the Janet Brown Rothwell Distinguished Professor of Education, joined the University in 2002 and served Muskingum for 18 years.
Larry Normansell, the Harry and Mary Evelyn Laurent Distinguished Professor of Psychology, joined the University in 1986 and served Muskingum for 34 years.
Richard Reichard, Associate Professor for Informatics, joined the University in 2003 and served Muskingum for 17 years.
Penny Selock, Special Events Planner, joined the University in 1983 and served Muskingum for 37 years, with 34 of those years in Student Affairs until joining Institutional Advancement in 2017.
Terry High, Buildings and Grounds Staff member, joined the University in 1985 and served Muskingum for 35 years, in roles including groundsman (1985-1996), grounds supervisor (1996-2001), and plumber (2001-2020).
