President Hasseler joins panel to discuss work and education
On September 27, Muskingum University President Susan Hasseler joined Muskingum County business and education leaders at The Future of Work & Education Summit at the Ohio University Zanesville campus. The Summit was hosted by Ohio University Zanesville and The Zanesville-Muskingum County Chamber of Commerce and allowed participants to engage with international and regional experts in recruiting and managing the emerging workforce.
Following a presentation by author, educator, and president of Smart Workforce Strategies Dr. David Delong, President Hasseler joined a panel discussion with other higher education and business leaders from the region, including Director of the Zanesville-Muskingum County Port Authority Matt Abbott '05. Among other topics, President Hasseler discussed the ways Muskingum University provides a “24/7” education to students of all ages, and the benefits of building technology into various educational programs.
