Nursing

Mary earned her Master of Science in Nursing Education degree from Indiana Wesleyan University and currently teaches courses in the third and fourth year of the nursing  program. She is course lead for junior-level adult medical/surgical as well as nursing leadership and management for senior level students. Mary also occasionally teaches students for MAP in the RN-BSN program. Prior to becoming full-time faculty in 2019, she taught Muskie Nurses in the clinical setting as a teaching assistant for Muskingum at Genesis Hospital.

Mary has been a Registered Nurse since 2007 and is recognized by the American Nurses Credentialing Center in nursing professional development. She has many years of bedside experience in the acute care setting. She has worked at Genesis Hospital for nearly 16 years with areas of concentration ranging from serving patients in medical/surgical and critical care areas as well as management and clinical education. Mary currently works at Genesis on-call as a Campus Coordinator.
