StoryFest 2019

New Concord Elementary School Pavilion

All events are free to the public at the New Concord Elementary School Pavilion. Look for for the Big Tent!

ARTS & STORYTELLING FESTIVAL. Sunday September 1, 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Downtown New Concord at the Pavilion on Main Street. Plan to celebrate Labor Day Sunday at the Village of New Concord block party with original art for sale, food, games & activities, morning meditation and worship-in-the-park, farmer's market, live music from local musicians, amateur storytelling contest for cash & prizes, an open mic, and a professional storyteller line-up. A fun cost-free way to spend Labor Day Sunday with the entire family, and for Muskingum students and parents to get to know the local community. Sponsored by Muskingum Forensics, the Department of Communication, Media and Theatre, Village Board of Trade, BiGFiSHfolklife, MCCF, NCAARD, and of course, the Village of New Concord (among others!)

Sign up to tell fun stories, sell or display your artwork at the fair, or to play/sing live music.

8:30am-9:30am Yoga in the Park with Leah Shirer

10am-11am Worship in the Park hosted by Bloomfield Presbyterian Church with guest Kim Weitkamp

11:30am - 7:30pm Food Trucks open (Pucky's Pit Stop, Pitabilities, and Ed-Dee's Dog Wagon)

Noon-2pm Children's Entertainment, Games, Local Music, and so much more!
