Michele Terney Miller, DNP, RN has been with MU since 2009. Michele teaches at the sophomore and senior levels and is the lead faculty for pharmacology, community health, and two medical-surgical courses. She loves teaching in the classroom, skills laboratory and the clinical settings. As an Education Consultant with Genesis Hospital, Michele teaches Emergency Nursing Courses and interdisciplinary critical care courses with American Heart Association. Michele is the co-chair for the tri-county Cancer Concern Coalition, member of the Genesis Ethics committee, and a member of the Genesis Peer Support team. Michele received training through the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation in- line with her research interests in the concepts of suffering, empathy, compassion, and communication. Michele is a retired officer of the United States Air Force.
