Two students selected for Southeast Ohio Watermedia Society Exhibition
Artworks by two Muskingum University students have been selected to appear in the Southeast Ohio Watermedia Society Annual Exhibition, titled Expressions.
Mandahu He, a sophomore art major, was selected for a painting titled Landscape of New Concord and that work was named Best of Show. Jiajin Lan, a first-year student, was selected for the exhibition for two works titled Reflection of Summer and Impression of Autumn. Both students graduated from Lanzhou High School #53, considered the best art school in Lazhou City, China.
The Southeast Ohio Watermedia Society Annual Exhibition is a juried competition, which had more than 40 entries this year. The artists’ works were judged by Christopher Leeper, president of the Watermedia Society.
The exhibition will be on display at the Yan Sun Art Museum, 604 Main Street in Zanesville through October 26.
