International Affairs Student Opportunities

Study Abroad
Muskingum University students have the opportunity to study for one or two semesters at a foreign university through the Muskingum or East Central Colleges (ECC) Consortium Student Exchange Programs. Currently, formal student exchange agreements exist with 16 universities in 12 different countries. In most cases there is no extra fee for participation in these exchange programs. Model UN
Model UN Program at Muskingum is a great way for students to learn about international relations and to gain a better sense of what a varied and fascinating world we live in. It is also a perfect "hands on" way to gain experience with basic skills -- such as communication, negotiation tactics, and conflict prevention -- that we all need in our day-to-day lives. Today more than 200,000 high school and college/university students worldwide participate in Model UN every year. Many of today's leaders in law, government, business and the arts participated in Model U.N. during their academic careers – from U.S. Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer and former World Court Justice Stephen M. Schwebel to actor Samuel L. Jackson. Former first daughter Chelsea Clinton is a Model U.N. veteran as well. Learn more about our chapter...
