Project Management Course Now Offered
Muskingum University’s Office of Organizational Leadership is offering an eight-week Project Management course this summer, starting on June 9, 2025. This 100 percent online course is designed to prepare students for the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM®) exam. The course covers key project management concepts, including predictive and Agile frameworks, business analysis, communication strategies, and leadership skills.
Taught by Alyssa Sharp, an experienced project manager, the course provides a structured approach to understanding project management principles and their real-world applications. Students will explore project coordination, risk management, and team collaboration while gaining the foundational knowledge needed for CAPM® certification.
This course is designed for students and professionals looking to develop project management skills, whether they are new to the field or seeking formal training to enhance their expertise. The curriculum emphasizes problem-solving, decision-making, and the ability to manage projects effectively across different industries.
The course is open to individuals interested in project management, whether as a standalone class or as a pathway into Muskingum’s Master of Organizational Leadership, Doctor of Organizational Leadership, Master of Business Administration, or Master of Arts in Education (Principal, Superintendent, or Administrative Specialist licensure) programs.
