This special concert will feature the Muskingum Valley Symphonic Winds and the Youth Wind Ensemble. Muskingum Valley Symphonic Winds is comprised of professional and talented amateur musicians from across Southeastern Ohio. MVSW performs a wide variety of music in a concert series funded in part by the Ohio Arts Council. It is open to all Muskingum faculty, staff, students, and community members through audition. The Muskingum Valley Youth Wind Ensemble (MVYWE) provides talented high school wind players and percussionists with opportunities to further develop their musical skills. The creation of the MVYWE builds on the Music Department's more than 30-year tradition of hosting high school students in youth performance events.
