Connections and Harmony: Contemporary Lakota-Iroquois and Dine' Perspectives Exhibition

From Oct. 16 through Nov. 6, the gallery will host Connections and Harmony: Contemporary Lakota-Iroquois and Dine' Perspectives, featuring artists Jim Yellowhawk of South Dakota and Elmer Yazzie of New Mexico. An opening reception will be held from from 1 to 3 p.m. on Oct. 16 and a dance performance featuring Mr. Yellowhawk will be held on Thursday, October 17 at 7 p.m. in the Caldwell Hall Thompson Theatre. In addition, a lecture and artist demonstration featuring Mr. Yazzie will be held from 1 to 2:30 p.m. on Oct. 30.


The exhibition will have special gallery hours during Muskingum Homecoming, including Oct. 18 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 2 to 5 p.m. and Oct. 19 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
