Paul teaches introductory courses for majors and non-majors for the chemistry department as well as and upper level classes in his areas of expertise including inorganic chemistry, instrumental methods of analysis, and forensic chemistry. His primary research area of interest is in the preparation and study of metal- organic framework compounds investigating the relationship between the composition and structures of these compounds with the properties they exhibit. He also routinely does STEM outreach programming for children throughout the K-12 age range in order to help foster an enthusiasm for science and math.
