Tiffany Lough
Tiffany Lough received her Master of Science degree from Ohio University, majoring in Sports Physiology and Adult Fitness, and her bachelor’s degree from Marietta College, majoring in Sports Medicine. Prior to coming to Muskingum, she worked for over ten years in Physical Therapy as a Certified and Licensed Athletic trainer conducting sports specific as well as therapeutic rehabilitation for a wide variety of patients, from the high school athlete to the post-knee replacement client, to the industrial athlete. Tiffany teaches advanced exercise physiology, kinesiology, first aid and CPR, exercise testing and prescription, EKG analysis, motor learning and performance, and senior seminar for health and fitness. She loves sharing her knowledge with students and watching them grow into professionals in the healthcare field. Her current research interests include the Exercise is Medicine initiative by the American College of Sports Medicine to prevent and treat a wide variety of chronic diseases, such as cardiovascular disease, obesity, and type 2 diabetes. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Kinesiology with a concentration in exercise physiology from Concordia St. Paul University in St. Paul, Minnesota.
